Surprise - another free pattern!

My surprise is arriving later than I promised, but I hope you will like it anyway. :-) On the last days of our Tuscany trip I got news that my mother broke her leg. So, just after we came back home, in a few days I had to take a plane to Riga to help my mother. Now with my son Alex we are here, in Riga, together with my mother. She is more or less ok. But already very bored to stay calm in her bed for so long. Well, now you can understand that I was quite busy these days and didn't have time for my blog... BUT, finally here is my surprise. I decided to share with you my Simply Cute Baby Booties pattern (on the right you can find the link where you can download it)! It is very easy to make them, it is perfect beginner project and they look so cute... Enjoy!

Now very shortly about our holidays! It was wonderful trip! I made almost 1000 photos! We visited many interesting places, saw many beautiful things... we had marvelous weather. For some days we stayed on the beach, then we made big tour of Tuscany... I will write more about places we visited and will publish some photos later...

Let's begin with gifts!

I love to crochet, and my biggest passion is baby booties! Here is one pattern I would like to share with you!
This is the pattern for Lavander Baby booties!
Now it is also available as free download on Ravelry in pdf format!

It is very easy and quickly to make these booties. I offer you two versions of one pattern. You can make them striped or just in one colour. I made marks in the pattern where you should change yarn to make them striped as you can see on the photo.

Size:
0-6 months, app. 10 cm foot lenght.

Materials:· 25 gr of 100% cotton yarn in one colour (I used Phildar 100 % cotton yarn “Detente” Lavande) , or 20 gr of cotton yarn in basic colour and 10 gr in another colour.
· crochet hook Nr.3 (should be the same as size “D”) or size needed to obtain gauge.
· two ribbons (each 50 cm long)

Gauge:4 sts = 2 cm or 5 sts = 1 inch

Stitches used:st(s) – stitch(es)
ch – chain stitch
hdc – half double crochet
sc – single crochet
sl st - slip stitch
