It was a time to make some new dishcloths as the old ones I used for quite a long time. Since I began to use crocheted dishcloths I don't want to use anything else. So I thought that it is a good occasion to share with you the pattern I use to make them. I like this pattern because it looks nice and it gives great scrubbiness...
So... you will need about 20 - 30 gr 100% cotton worsted weight yarn. Crochet hook you feel comfortable to work with... and let's begin:
So... you will need about 20 - 30 gr 100% cotton worsted weight yarn. Crochet hook you feel comfortable to work with... and let's begin:
Row 1: ch 45, 2 dc in 3rd ch from hook, skip next 2 sts, sc, (ch2, 2 dc in same st as sc, skip next 2 sts, sc) repeat till the end of row, turn
Row 2: ch2, 2 dc in same st as last sc of previous row, (sc in next ch-2 space, ch2, 2 dc in same ch-2 space) repeat till the end of row (last st has to be sc), turn
Repeat Row 2 as many times as you need to make dishcloth in size you prefer to use.
When you finished last row don't fasten off, but continue to work (ch2, 2 dc in same ch-2 space, sc in next ch-2 space) around the dishcloth to make the edging look nice.
Hope you like it! :-)

Came over from Flicker... LOVE the pattern for your dishcloths. I make lots of them to give away as baby gifts, and I'm always looking for a good pattern to use.
Hallo Vita,
I come from Germany and I like your TWO COLOUR BABY BOOTIES so much. My English has got rusty a little bit. But I learn again.
Have a nice day, autumnal greetings
